How to punch a hole in the
side of a film can
It is a simple task
to punch a hole in the side of a film can. But how many can offer
you a punching device that does it so close to the bottom of the
can? The hole must be 11mm in diameter an since the film can,
- as obvious ­ does not have a straight side , for clicking-in
tightly the indicator-button there has to be pressed a flat recess
of 4mm surrounding the punched hole which is achieved during punching.
The indicator also clicks-in-tightly into 2,5mm carton/plastic
cans. Please study the indicator seen from the side.
Please note that the
lid on 16mm tins will cover the hole in the bottom and you therefore
need to punch a half-moon in the lid. This also applies to any
other type of container.
