How to create a microenvironment

Place your film with the ‘vinegar syndrome’ in a heavy duty plastic bag together with a number of molecular sieves and seal it, then you have created a perfect microenvironment. Keep it in your vault, your fridge or your freezer. If the film is very acetic you should change the molecular sieves every 3 month. The purpose of this is to avoid films infecting other films in your vault. Simple and efficient.
Food for thought.

You can of course also use Dansieve in conventional filmcans. Please remember to seal the can or else you loose the effect.
