Dancan for extended term film storage. Research at Manchester Metropolitan University in England has determined which plastic and stabilizer (additives) offer the best protection against deterioration. Dancan is manufactured in chemically inert homopolymer polypropylene. Standard color is Dancan blue. Other colors on request.

Dancan features optional 11mm hole in the side for mounting of Danchek Control Eye which indicates the release of acid fumes in acetate film.

Data from independent tests performed at the Image Permanence Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology shows that Dancan Plastic Filmcan has passed the PAT Photographic Activity Test (Per ANSI IT9.16). It also conforms with SMPTE and other ANSI Standards.
