Dancan for shipping and extended term film storage. Research at Manchester Metropolitan University in England has determined which plastic and stabilizer (additives) offer the best protection against deterioration. Dancan is manufactured in chemically inert copolymer polypropylene (PPC). Standard color is Dancan blue. They also feature an optional core holder which keeps your film right in the middle of the can.

Dancan features optional 11mm hole in the side for mounting of Danchek Control Eye which indicates the release of acid fumes in acetate film.
As the lid covers the buttom part you need a U punch in the lid. (15mm)

Dancan features VENTILATION SLOTS. Please specifiy according to pricelist.

Data from independent tests performed at the Image Permanence Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology shows that Dancan Plastic Film Can has passed the PAT Photographic Activity Test (Per ANSI IT9.16). It also conforms with SMPTE and other ANSI Standards.
